Biography

Robert William Case has undergone his share of transitions.  Bobby grew up in Ohio, graduating from high school at the same time and place as the eruption at Kent State in 1970.   After a brief stint in college, Bob left to travel through Europe and the Middle East.  Returning home, he moved west to study skiing and geophysics.  Then came family and career, both of which unraveled in the implosion of the oil and gas business ten years later.

Out of those ashes law school ensued and in no particular order came divorce, child rearing and another career, this time as an attorney. Fast forward again and with the children moving into their own lives, he discovered a book inside trying to get out.  In 2008, Robert William Case completed and published Daedalus Rising – The True Story of Icarus.  The following spring the book won an EVVY award for fiction.  Robert continues to write, and tell stories and poetry on open mic nights at the Mercury Café  and other Denver nightspots - and he still enjoys a good predawn flight from time to time.
